I married Stephen Holdroyd on 21 November 1981 after meeting at Whitcliffe in 1976. We were married at Gomersal Parish Church with two ex-pupils as bridesmaids; Zoe Holdroyd and Karen Harrison.  Dave Clarkson was the best man.
Ex pupils who were present were:-
Carol Taylor, Jayne Mitchell, Brigitte Moore, Philip Dutton, Martin Mapplebeck.
We have lived in South Wales for 26 years and have two sons.

Diane Holdroyd (married name): 1971 - 1978

I had a couple of classes with Lee and we started dating durnignGCSE's.  We got engaged in 1998 on ITV's Calendar show who gatecrashed Lee's 18th birthday party!  We were married in Malta with just family present and had a party on our return.  Several of our old school friends attended both the engagement and the wedding reception.  We still live in Cleckheaton and have been married for 7 years and have a son - Taylor-Jai, aged 3.  We are currently expecting our second child in April 2010.

Hayley Greenwood (nee Westomoreland): 1993 - 1997

When I attended Whitcliffe my name was Tracey Clee.  My husband (Paul Robinson - known as 'Rabbi') also was at the school in the year above me.  We now have 2 children, Zak aged 15 who is already at the school and Ione aged 12 who will probably start in September 2010.  I remember Miss Holt as she taught me English - also Mr Hill and mr Farrar (Art), Mr Mirfin (French), Mr Perrin (History) - many others whose names escape me.  I was at the school with one of my closest friends, Carolyn Ingham (now Sellers) and we had many good times here.  The school seems great today, the lessons look really tempting in comparision with our old curriculum!

Tracey Robinson (nee Clee): 1976 - 1979

David and Wendy Thomas (Reston) were married at St Andrews Church, Maghull on the 25th March 1989. The reception was held at Holland Hall, UpHolland. Guests from Whitcliffe included; Angela Day. Michael Brear, Carol Dunn, Carol Fletcher, Gareth Owen, John Pamment, Bryan Wagner, Florian Kaja (Les), Joan Lee, Brian Walker, Ann Longbottom, Sandra Barugh and Judith Brook. Margaret and Ray Wormald were out of the country at the time.

Hello

I attended Whitcliffe (between 1999 and 2002) and met my Fiance Chris Butler in English class (Hi Miss Gledhill!) we were always talking to eachother and constantly getting told to move into different chairs! Chris asked me to marry him December 2008 & we are getting married in August 2010 and I cannot wait - there are a few people coming to the wedding from our year, Lee Phillips is our best man and so is Sam Buswell. Ben Toye and Charlotte Verity are also coming. So thank you Whitcliffe Mount School for brining me and my future hubby together!
