Whitcliffe Mount Home : Main School : Technology
Technology
The Design and Technology Department at Whitcliffe Mount is a well established department with an ever improving array of resources and an experienced team of teaching staff that have a range of specialisms. We are also supported by 2 full time technicians.
In year 9 pupils are taught 3 seperate disciplines under the headings of; Food Technology, Textiles technology and Product Design. This gives them the opportunity to complete key stage 3 in a variety of subject areas some of which they may have little previous knowledge depending on Middle school experience. At key stage 4 pupils are offered a wide variety of courses listed below and in the sixth form we currently offer 2 'A' level courses.
