Seneca Learning

Seneca makes revision engaging and fun. It is proven that we learn better when we are interested and motivated. The website provides different activities, questions and quizzes to check a student’s understanding of the topic. The work is marked online and then the areas that require further study are highlighted with the student able to revisit these topic areas. Seneca is individualised for your learning and is exam board specific so you are revising for your exam, not generic subject knowledge. The platform can be used by teachers, students and parents for free. Click on the image above to access the Seneca website.

Perfect for learning or revising for your GCSE exams. Data shows students using GCSEPod can achieve 1 additional grade higher in each subject.

HegartyMaths covers a variety of maths topics.  A task includes an educational video with an explanation and examples on the topic. Afterwards, there is a quiz to complete, containing topic specific questions. The site is regularly updated and more topics added to keep up with the GCSE mathematics curriculum. Students can complete tasks by themselves, or teachers can assign these tasks to students to complete as homework or for revision purposes and then track the student's progress.

Careers

All students need to be in learning until the age of 18 and continue with GCSE English and Maths if they don’t achieve grade 4 by the end of year 11. Options after year 11:

•Full-time education - Do you know when all the College and Sixth Form open days and evenings?

•Apprenticeships

•Training/Traineeships
