At Whitcliffe Mount Academy, our vision is to ensure that every young person leaves us with the knowledge, character and confidence to succeed in an ever-changing world.

We want our students to be curious about the world around them, ambitious for their futures and equipped with the knowledge, skills and habits that will open doors to opportunity. Through a broad and ambitious education, we develop young people who can think deeply, communicate confidently, make informed choices and continue to learn throughout their lives.

We believe that background should never determine destination. Every student should be known, valued, challenged and supported to achieve their very best. We therefore combine high expectations with high support, creating a school where excellent teaching, strong relationships, consistent routines and a genuine sense of belonging allow every student to thrive.

We treat others with respect, compassion and consideration. Kindness at Whitcliffe Mount is active: it means looking out for others, celebrating their successes and making choices that strengthen our community. It also means having the courage to challenge behaviour that falls below our expectations and helping one another to be better.

We are ambitious for every student. We encourage our young people to be curious, broaden their horizons and believe in what they can achieve.
