Contacting School

As we continue to focus on improving our communication with parents/carers, we would like to remind you that school contact details can be found on the Contact Us page on the WMA website.

For general queries - The Head of Year Team are generally the first point of contact for pastoral enquiries, and specific issues can be directed to the staff listed here.

Curriculum Queries – We have recently launched a new way to contact us should you have any questions around your child(ren)s learning and/or the curriculum. You can submit a curriculum query here.

We will endeavour to make contact within 2 school working days as per the school policy.

Arbor Update

As we move towards launching the Arbor Parent App we require parent/carers email addresses to enable each parent/carer to register. To allow the app to work correctly, email addresses cannot be duplicated therefore each parent/carer will need their own personal email address.  To allow us to ensure we have the correct information please complete the form below. Please note we will only be able to use the responses from this form to update existing contacts.
Deadline: Friday 28th June

Uniform

As we are approaching the end of the academic year, we wish to ask for your help supporting our future students. Should you have any uniform, in good condition, that you no longer need it can be donated to our uniform office so it can be provided to students whose families may need some financial assistance with purchasing or replacing items of uniform. This could include ties, skirts, trousers, blazers, PE tops and school shoes. Any items you may wish to donate can be handed into our main office. All donations will be gratefully received. Thank you in advance.

Being proud to celebrate students achieving their personal best

If any of our amazing students are achieving personal goals, milestones or awards outside of school we would love to hear all about them and we can share those achievements on the schools X feed (formerly twitter). If you would like to do share those achievements, please email the office with the news with a photo or tag us on X (@Wmount).

  • subject specific vocabulary
  • revision tips and techniques on how to learn and remember more

Students should be using the revision tips and techniques outlined in this guide to support their revision, using the information from their exercise books, the useful revision links and exam questions.

The students will be provided with paper copies of the 2019 GCSE exams. The students should be working through the exam questions as part of their revision, checking their answers using the mark schemes and watching the walk-through videos to support them with their understanding . The links to the mark schemes and walk-through videos are available on the go-to revision guide attached.

If you have any questions or require any further support with your revision, please don't hesitate to contact your science teacher.

There are three copies of this guide attached, one for foundation, one for higher, and one for Triple science. Please use the correct one for the exams you are sitting.
